6y/o f dachshund -needs childless home (Hartford city)

offered in person
Rosie needs a home as she isn’t tolerant of my grand children who come to visit. She has started exhibiting behaviors such as bathroom in house and snapping at people when the babies are around, which is often.

Rosie was rescued at 6 months after being neglected by her teenage 4-h breeder. She may have been tormented by children then because she’s always been jumpy around them and exhibited signs of abuse early when she arrived.
When she is not exposed to children (or punishing you for the children being in her presence) she is a cuddler and and pleasant dog. She does not bark a lot and has a meal routine she sticks with. She has a den I’ve made her, but the children being around puts her in a permanent bad mood and she broods in there.

Rosie was neutered after her 2nd heat and never had pups. She weighs approx 17lbs at last check up and does well on walks.
She’s a dachshund and that makes her a bit fickle so I prefer she goes to someone who has experienced the breed and knows how to keep them happy. No health issues and she will live a long long life if given the opportunity. I want Rosie happy
Message for text/call info if interested & for pics.
Tan with white under markings. No blemishes. No health issues. She’s a lover when she’s happy.
I use doggie diapers to retrain her when she exhibits her displeasure.
She comes with her den and blankets, bowl, doggie diapers and some outfits (which she doesn’t love)
Good with cats.
Good with dogs.
Rehoming fee optional to preferred adopter
Due for shots Aug 25
